Family FAQ

Our daily schedule is 8:00AM-1:45PM on Mondays and 8:00AM-3:45PM Tuesdays through Fridays. 

Sports activities occur after school for students in good academic standing. Additionally, academic intervention offerings occur after school starting in the spring. At this time, these programs are not available for all students. 

A WIN (what I need) period is built into each day. During the WIN period, students receive tutoring in subjects where they could use additional support. Additionally, afterschool tutoring occurs as intervention support, starting in the spring semester. 

Each classroom is comprised of no more than 20-25 students.

The lottery for the 2023-24 school year will take place on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023. Parents will receive a notification via SchoolMint alerting them of their child’s acceptance or waitlist status.

At Vertex, we create an atmosphere for students to remove distractions and focus on learning and their overall growth. Upon arrival each day, students turn in their cell phones to be stored throughout the day and then retrieved at dismissal. 

Students are expected to be in uniform each day. Each uniform item consists of the Vertex logo. Please see here for the uniform items and how to order. Upon enrollment, each family receives a voucher to support the purchase of initial uniform items.
